A.M.I. Accreditation

The Guelph Montessori School is affiliated with the Association Montessori Internationale (A.M.I.). Dr. Maria Montessori established A.M.I. in 1929. She intended A.M.I. to:

• safeguard her contribution, on behalf of the child, against diluting influences
• maintain the standards of training for those wishing to apply or teach her method.

A.M.I. has functioned without interruption since its foundation, and is the most reliable authority on authentic Montessori theory and practice in existence.

A Solid Reputation in Guelph

Established in 1978, the Guelph Montessori School has a solid reputation in the community. All our teachers hold Montessori diplomas issued by A.M.I. or A.M.S. training centres. Both Administrators were trained by Ms. Renilde Montessori, granddaughter of Dr. Maria Montessori.
